As we are now into Fall, I was just chompin&#8217; on the bit to make some pumpkin bars.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>However, October can be a slippery slope for me and sugar. With Halloween, comes treats and candy and that is all it takes to start up the sugar-train for me straight through the Holidays. So, here&#8217;s my low sugar Gluten-Free pumpkin bar recipe using Sorghum flour, which is based from millet. It&#8217;s definitely a &#8216;hearty&#8217; gluten-free flour, so it actually has a consistency of whole wheat. Sorghum also absorbs a lot of liquid, hence the need for additional eggs. If you&#8217;re looking for a pumpkin treat, but want a healthier version, this is the ticket!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a id=\"829961\" href=\"https:\/\/imp.i209368.net\/c\/2072290\/829961\/11183\" target=\"_top\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/\/a.impactradius-go.com\/display-ad\/11183-829961\" alt=\"\" width=\"728\" height=\"90\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"position: absolute; visibility: hidden;\" src=\"https:\/\/imp.pxf.io\/i\/2072290\/829961\/11183\" width=\"0\" height=\"0\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You may sub out with another gluten-free flour for this recipe if hearty bars are not your vibe! Spray a pan that is about 10&#215;15 or 9 x 13 inch baking pan and set aside.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Beat the wet ingredients together in a bowl &#8211; eggs, pumpkin, sugar and oil until well blended.<\/div>\n<div>Mix the dry ingredients in a separate bowl &#8211; flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and spices.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Lightly mix in the dry into the wet ingredients until everything is coated.
