One of my favorite finds was Medex, a company out of Slovenia<\/a>. Medex has been operating sustainably for decades. The company, which established and developed beekeeping in the former Yugoslavia, has grown into a company that spreads beekeeping around the world. In doing so, we are achieving a significant number of UNESCO’s seventeen sustainable development goals: eradicating poverty, hunger, caring for the environment, and empowering women. Beekeeping contributes to all of these goals.<\/p>\n

A significant shift towards sustainable packaging was evident, with brands actively seeking alternatives to traditional plastics. Exhibitors showcased innovative solutions, including compostable materials, recycled paper-based packaging, and biodegradable films.
