You either got a pressure cooker as a gift, or you have vowed to make 2018 a healthy year by making better food choices. If that&#8217;s the case, this &#8216;<strong>Chili Lime Alaska Salmon&#8217;<\/strong> recipe is for you!\u00a0 Making <strong>Alaska salmon<\/strong>\u00a0in an Instant Pot or pressure cooker is a snap! Not only can you make juicy salmon rich in omega-3 fatty acids in mere minutes, but eating sustainable Alaska Seafood is also good for our planet.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I went to Whole Foods to find my \u00a0<strong>Alaska Seafood choices<\/strong>\u00a0and asked the store&#8217;s fishmonger to help direct me to some choices. My family and I try to be good stewards of the planet and seek out sustainably caught seafood whenever possible.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5689\" src=\"https:\/\/www.boredmom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/Untitled-design-41.png\" alt=\"Alaska Salmon Chili Lime\" width=\"810\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stage.boredmom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/Untitled-design-41.png 810w, https:\/\/stage.boredmom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/Untitled-design-41-300x167.png 300w, https:\/\/stage.boredmom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/Untitled-design-41-768x427.png 768w, https:\/\/stage.boredmom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/Untitled-design-41-500x278.png 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 810px) 100vw, 810px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Alaska is our nation\u2019s largest source of domestic seafood \u2013 nearly 60 percent of all the wild seafood harvested in the U.S. comes from the pristine waters of Alaska. More importantly,\u00a0Alaska is the <strong>only state<\/strong> with sustainability written into its constitution. In fact, Alaska only harvests as much fish as the environment can handle every fishing season. This careful process allows seafood species to continue to replenish year after year, and not risk over-fishing. This responsible sourcing ensures that there will be delicious Alaska Seafood for future generations, so buying &#8216;Alaska&#8217; is an easy choice for me as a consumer.<\/p>\n<p>The Whole Food&#8217;s Fish Monger was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about Alaska Seafood. Frozen if using the Pressure Cooker Recipe<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chili Lime Drizzle<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1\/2 cup lime juice<br \/>\n1\/4 cup cilantro, chopped (If you don&#8217;t like cilantro, use flat leaf parsley instead)<br \/>\n2 tbsp olive oil<br \/>\n1 tbsp water<br \/>\n1 tbsp garlic, minced<br \/>\n1 tsp cumin<br \/>\n1 tsp salt<br \/>\n1 tsp chili powder<\/p>\n<p>Rice &#8211; Look for the word\u00a0\u201cAlaska\u201d on frozen and canned seafood packaging as well as menus.
